About The Nature Gardener

The Nature Gardener provides professional wildlife gardening services across the South West, specialising in the planning, creation, and maintenance of diverse garden habitats. Our aim is to increase local biodiversity by transforming private gardens into vital corridors for native plants and animals.

Our Mission: Reversing Habitat Loss

The UK has seen a significant decline in native species due to the loss of natural habitats. Since the 1960s, hedgehogs have declined by 95% and house sparrows by 66%. Furthermore, 97% of traditional wildflower meadows have disappeared, and 300,000 miles of native hedgerows have been removed.

We address these declines by creating mini nature reserves within residential spaces. By mimicking the wider countryside through varied garden habitats, we provide the shelter, feeding grounds, and breeding sites necessary for wildlife to thrive.
